Tina Schmitt is the Director of Talent Acquisition and Retention for the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Tina has a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science and Education from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Business Management/ Human Resources from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She is certified as a Senior HR Professional (SCP) by the Society for Human Resources Management. She is also a certified Healthcare Recruiter (CHCR) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) by HRCI. Tina has been with the Institute for 23 years and has built the TA function from ground up and leads and directs all talent strategies. Tina is passionate about talent acquisition, organizational culture, workforce development, training and diversity and inclusion. Tina lives in Baltimore County with her husband and two children Dylan (8) and Ella (7).
