Student Scholarship Award Program

Applications for 2025 Scholarships is Open to Receive Applications

Each year, CHRA presents a $2,500 scholarship and a paid registration fee for the CHRA Spring Conference to one undergraduate student and one graduate student who:

Demonstrates a commitment to the field of Human Resources;
Exhibits proven leadership ability; and,
Is actively involved in CHRA or other HR related organizations.

2025 CHRA Student Scholarships

The CHRA Student Scholarships will be presented during the 2025 CHRA Annual Spring Conference on April 23, 2025.

Qualifications for Entry:

Applicant must be a full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate student.
If enrolled at a Community College, students must be working toward a Bachelor’s Degree – referred to as a Transfer Pattern / Pathway (not a Certificate).
Applicant must be a current CHRA Member with membership activated by March 1, 2025.

Entry Guidelines:

Entries will be evaluated by the College Relations Committee based on the following criteria:

Commitment to the field of Human Resources
Demonstrated leadership
Involvement in CHRA or other HR related organizations
Application submitted on or before the deadline (to be announced)

Scholarship Award Application Instructions:

This application must be completed in full and submitted with the following:

A current copy of the applicant's resume
Unofficial school transcript demonstrating full or part-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program
One letter of recommendation from a professional reference such as a faculty member, school advisor, current/former employer, or HR professional.
