Submit a Speaker Proposal

CHRA is always looking for new dynamic speakers to present at an upcoming event. If you are passionate about your field and have valuable insights to share, consider applying to be a speaker at one of our events. Join us in our mission to educate, inspire, and connect the HR community.

There are multiple opportunities to present your topics with CHRA:

Monthly Education Programs

In-person programs are 2 hours in length followed by a 1-hour networking event and held on the third Thursday of the month. Virtual Education Programs are typically 1 hour in length and held on the first or second Thursday of the month.

Annual Spring Conference

Programs are typically 1 hour and 15 minutes in length for this full day conference held in April of each year. The Call for Speakers for the 2025 Spring Conference is open.

Annual Fall Conference

Programs are typically 1 hour in length for this conference held in November of each year. Programs should be focused on Legislative Updates, Employment Law, and other regulatory information.  The Call for Speakers for the 2024 Fall Conference is closed.

Diversity Symposium

The CHRA Diversity Committee is excited to announce a call for presenters for our annual Diversity Symposium. This event aims to foster a deeper understanding and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies within the human resources field.  The Call for Speakers for the 2024 Diversity Symposium is closed.

How may I be notified of future "Call for Presentations"?

What topics are of interest to CHRA?

Speakers who provide rich content in an engaging and highly interactive format are preferred. A few examples of specific areas of interest:

  • "How To’s" (Preferably using case studies or workshops)
  • How to create and use HR Metrics
  • How to create and use a Compensation Analysis
  • How to fully utilize HRIS
  • How to conduct an HR audit Benefits (HR’s fiduciary responsibility, the design and planning of benefits)
  • Change management Regulatory/Legislative updates and how they affect HR HR’s ability to impact the bottom line
  • Other Case studies / Workshops (examples: Day in the life of; How you created buy in from your CFO/CEO; Myers Briggs and other tools, etc.)

*Important note regarding honorarium and expenses:
If selected, all presenters are responsible for their own program content, expenses (such as travel) associated with the speaking engagement, and applicable handout materials.  CHRA will work with the presenters on providing agreed upon audio/visual. CHRA, as a non-profit, does not supply honorarium to speakers or cover any travel expenses.
