As employees consider and prepare for their retirement, they often have questions about when and how to enroll into Medicare, what does it cover, where do I go to enroll, etc. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) offers informative sessions for employers and for near retirees and/or caregivers of seniors on Medicare eligibility, enrollment and Medicare options. CMS has local engagement staff available to meet with employers and to provide their employees with the information, knowledge and resource tools to make a smooth and informed transition. They have free Medicare publications, helpful tools, can offer webinar presentations to your employees, and can point people to CMS trained local counselors available to provide individual counseling.
