Dear Colleagues and Friends-

I am pleased to announced that SHRM has presented CHRA with the prestigious 2019 SHRM Excel Platinum Chapter Award. This Award recognizes the hard work of our volunteers who have created the member value programs, forums and educational offerings in support of our CHRA members.

With our membership numbers at an all-time high, CHRA has achieved SHRM Super Mega Chapter Status for having over 1,000 members. Out of over 500 SHRM Chapters in the United States, CHRA is only one of 19 who have achieved Super Mega Status. Thank you for your continued membership!

The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has awarded CHRA the prestigious Excel Platinum Chapter Award for our Chapter's accomplishments in 2019. The Excel Platinum Chapter Award, the highest level for this award, is presented to SHRM Chapters to recognize major accomplishments, strategic activities and tactical initiatives that elevate the profession of human resources.

"So much of SHRM's impact on the world of work can be traced back to the dedication and hard work of our Chapters like CHRA. These leaders took the initiative and drove changes to make workplaces where employers and employees can thrive together.", said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, President and Chief Executive Officer of SHRM. "The CHRA Platinum Excel Award is not only a celebration of the work done by CHRA - it's also a recognition of the grit it took to do it."

Thank you to the CHRA Board of Directors for their outstanding leadership, to our volunteer Committees for sharing their time and expertise, and to all of our members for their continued support and participation in CHRA.
