Keidra Lazard has 15 years of experience working in human resources helping leaders align their talent and business strategy to help improve company performance. She has worked in progressively complex roles in profit and not-for-profit healthcare, higher education, and utility service organizations managing complex employee relations, building talent management programs, and improving employee engagement and retention. 


Currently, Keidra serves the healthcare industry as a Director, Human Resources Business Partner. Her experience, combined with her ability to build partnerships, has delivered results throughout her career. She has earned a reputation as a collaborator, relationship-builder, strategic thinker, and problem-solver.

Keidra is passionate about helping others through volunteerism and community service. She volunteers with Food and Friends non-profit organization delivering free meals to community members in need. She has also been a long-time supporter of the Chesapeake Human Resources Association. She has served on the Diversity and Inclusion, Professional Development, and Fall Legislative/Employment Law Conference Committees, where she helped select monthly learning programs, helped with planning the annual Fall conference, and participated in activities that promote inclusivity and belonging.

Keidra holds multiple certifications including a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She also has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science from the University of Baltimore. She is completing coursework toward a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University.
