Community Engagement Committee 

The Community Engagement Committee supports CHRA's defined community initiatives and recommends fund raising initiatives to support community involvement programs.

Join the Community Engagement Committee 

To join the Community Engagement Committee, simply complete the Committee Sign-Up/Volunteer Letter of Intent Form below. CHRA will add your name to the Committee Roster and the Committee Chair will reach out to you with additional information. Some Committees meet monthly, others meet only at certain times of the year. The Committee Chair will contact you with the schedule.

Thank you for expressing your interest in volunteering with CHRA! Please complete the Volunteer Letter of Intent below. This letter is your pledge that you understand the expectations of serving on a CHRA Committee. Once this form is completed, you will receive a confirmation and we will inform the Committee Chair of your interest. The Chair will reach out to you directly with additional information. If at any time you would like to change your Committee selection, find you are unable to volunteer, or would like to volunteer in other ways with CHRA, please contact us at info@chra.com or 443-966-3870.
I understand that as a CHRA volunteer on the Committee I have selected above, there are certain responsibilities. I will interpret CHRA work and values to the community, represent the Association and act as an Ambassador for CHRA. I will abide by CHRA's by-laws and policies and procedures and conduct myself in a manner which is in the best interests of the Association. I understand that I will be responsible for attending one (1) Committee Meeting per quarter with a minimum of two (2) in-person Committee meetings per year. I will attend at least 75% of committee meetings and special events and will actively support CHRA through regular attendance at Association functions. I will not use my position as a CHRA volunteer for my own personal financial benefit whereby such action would be detrimental to CHRA. I will work in good faith with CHRA staff and Board members as partners towards the achievement of CHRA's and the committee's goals. I understand that failure to meet these committee member expectations may result in me being asked to step down, or being removed from my committee seat.
