ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Today’s job market has presented various challenges in talent management. Scores of quality resumes might come in for a single vacancy. This often makes the interview a significant tie breaker in the selection process. In this part of the presentation, various question types will be discussed that can be effectively utilized by interviewers, most notably behavioral and situational inquiries. In addition, objective scoring guides will be presented that will help quantify and rank candidates.

Today’s job market has left many HR professionals in search of employment. Many have not had to seek employment until recently being placed into the job search. In this part of the presentation, tips and approaches for an effective interview presentation will be discussed. Doing the small stuff might very well be the difference between an offer letter and another rejection letter.
This presentation will hopefully serve to not only enhance the body of knowledge for HR professionals who are charged with the task of interviewing, but also assist HR professionals who are job seekers to advance their competitive position during their own job searches.
