The Chesapeake
Human Resources Association maintains the CHRA "Listserv"
as an Internet resource to its members. CHRA is designed to provide
its members with a means of quick, easy communication to discuss HR
related topics.
Access
is free to members who wish to subscribe. CHRA Listserv can be used as
a medium for the exchange of ideas to share solutions to HR related problems,
to announce job openings, meetings, or simply to keep in touch with one
another.
The
Listserv is maintained by CHRA Headquarters as a service to CHRA and the
HR community in the Baltimore-Washington Metro. Deitra Davenport, Association
Coordinator for CHRA serves as host for the Listserv.
Who
can subscribe?
Any
CHRA members only. As of October, 2000, the listserv was closed to members
only. If you are not a member, please consider joining and taking advantage
of the many benefits of membership.
Instructions
for Subscribing
Send
an e-mail message to: ListservCHRA-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
You will be asked to create a Yahoo ID and password. You will only
be required to do this on the initial set up. Please keep this for
your records because CHRA will not have access to each members' account
information.
Remember
that any message you 'send' or 'reply' to goes to all subscribers.
Subscribers
are expected to identify themselves with a "signature" including
their name, title, company, telephone/fax, and e-mail address with each
message.
If
you leave your office for an extended time and wish to inform your addressees
that you will be out, PLEASEDO NOT USE AN AUTO REPLY MESSAGE
BEFORE UN-SUBSCRIBING.
FIRST
UN-SUBSCRIBE, (see above) THEN SET THE AUTO REPLY.
If
you do not do this, you will initiate an ENDLESS LOOP THAT COULD
FILL ALL SUBSCRIBERS' MAILBOXES!
