The Chesapeake
Human Resources Association serves the human resources community
across the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Advertising through CHRA
can give you access to more than 700 Association members as well
as 200 additional human resources practitioners who may receive
our mailings or attend our events during the year.

Combining Newsletter and Directory
The ChesaSpeak
Newsletter and the Membership Directory are online at CHRA's Web site,
www.chra.com. Members are notified by e-mail each time the newsletter
is updated, alerting them to visit. This is a one-stop, up-to-the-minute
resource for members and vendors containing the newsletter, calendar of
activities, and resource directory for products and services for the human
resource profession.
Banner ads
are available, appearing randomly on each click-able page on the web-site.
A total of 32 banner ads will be available each month.
Your banner must be submitted in the following
format: Size 120 x 600 pixels, compliant with IAB Standards, in .jpg.

CHRA holds

Diversity
Award
The James
W. Rouse Diversity Award is given annually to the local organization which
best exemplifies an attitude and environment of acceptance and inclusion.
The award is presented at CHRA's May Diversity Dinner Meeting.
Sponsorships
of $500 and $250 are available. They help CHRA provide the award, pay
for speaker honorarium, dinner for award winners, etc. Recognition is
provided to all sponsors at the event.

CHRF
Pathways to Success
Pathways
to Success, CHRA's Community Outreach Program, helps to provide local
high school juniors the skills necessary to enter the workforce. The uniqueness
of this training program is that it occurs at business sites throughout
the Metropolitan Baltimore Community and provides exposure to different
work environments, enhancing the learning experience for the students.
CHRF has recently launched a Corporate Adoption Program.

Monthly
Mailings
Once
each month (excluding May, June, July and November), a hard-copy mailing
of CHRA approved flyers and activities will be mailed to all members.
Advertisers would need to submit a sample of the mailing in advance for
review, and upon approval, provide 750 folded copies of the mailing to

Promoting
Member/HR-Related Events
CHRA receives
many requests from non-profit organizations,
charities, and associations for access to our membership. We are
flattered! However, in the interest of respecting the privacy of our
members and in the interest of the limited time we share with our
members, we do not provide our mailing list to such groups, nor do we
afford them the opportunity to make presentations at our membership
meetings.
HOWEVER....There
are other very effective methods to reach out to the
CHRA community to share your story....
1. Write
a brief newsletter article for the Chesaspeak.
2. Advertise on the CHRA website.
3. Advertise in our monthly mailing to members.
4. Sponsor a monthly meeting.
5. Be an exhibitor at a CHRA conference.
