HRCI Certification Support
Each Spring and Fall, HRCI Certification Preparation Courses are hosted through CHRA and discounted prices given to CHRA members. This is a great opportunity to prepare yourself for the certification exam and increase your professional value!
The online Monthly Newsletter is filled with valuable articles, new member spotlights, the President's message, reminders of upcoming events, etc. and is delivered to your email inbox at the beginning of each month.
Professional and Career Development
Along with its monthly education meetings, CHRA offers half day workshops on various subjects, along with two annual conference: the annual Spring Conference (typically each April) and the annual Fall Conference (typically in November) which focuses more specifically on employment law and regulatory updates. CHRA members always receive a discounted rate to attend.

SHRM Student Chapters
The College Relations Committee organizes CHRA resources and professional members to benefit local aspiring Human Resource professionals and their future employers through support, development and networking opportunities for college students. The committee ensures support for local student SHRM chapters, unaffiliated HR students and promotion of the HR career choice.
Special Provision for Members in Transition
Upon renewal, any unemployed CHRA member in transition may request and be granted a one-time only membership dues waiver for one year from the individual's member expiration date, provided the individual is a member in good standing or has a membership that has been lapsed for no more than 60 days.
Vendor Networking Groups (VNG’s) are member-driven networking groups designed to facilitate the exchange of connections and business development leads to deliver tangible opportunities that bring value to the HR Practitioners’ organizations. These groups meet once a month and focus on building individual relationships with other vendor's to help each vendor's business development.
